By using the Secure Call Platform Interface and related services (SCP),
you are indicating both your acceptance to be bound by the terms of these
Use Terms and Conditions and your representation that you have the requisite
authority to bind the entity for whom you work.
SECURUS hereby grants to Customer and its designated authorized
End Users (collectively, "Customer") a limited, restricted and revocable license
to use the SCP Interface and related services solely for Customer's own internal
business purposes and only for legitimate law enforcement purposes in conformance
with the SCP Use and Security Policy located herein. Customer shall comply with all laws,
regulations and rules which may, in SECURUS' sole opinion, govern the use of the
SCP Interface and related services and information provided therein.
Customer represents and warrants that all of Customer's use of the SCP Interface
and related services shall be for
legitimate law enforcement purposes, including
investigative,
penological and/or public safety.
Neither Customer, nor Customer's employees, agents or
representatives shall use the SCP Interface and related services
for its or their own personal benefit,
for the purposes of brokering or providing
information to any third party or for any other purpose whatsoever,
other than legitimate law enforcement purposes. Customer agrees
that if SECURUS determines or reasonably suspects that Customer,
or any of its employees, agents or representatives
is using the SCP Interface and related services for
his/her personal benefit, or is engaging in brokering the SCP
Interface and related services' information, programs, computer applications,
or data, or is otherwise violating any provision of these Use Terms and Conditions,
or any of the laws, regulations, or rules, SECURUS may take immediate action,
including but not limited to terminating the delivery of, and the license to use,
the SCP Interface and related services. Additionally, Customer shall periodically
audit its authorized End User's usage of SCP to confirm compliance with these Use
Terms and Conditions. Customer shall not access the SCP Services from
Internet Protocol addresses located outside of the
United States
and its territories without SECURUS' prior written approval.
Customer will indemnify Securus, its affiliates and their respective directors,
officers, agents, successors and assigns, for all damages, losses, costs, obligations,
liability, settlement, payment, award, judgment, fine, penalty, expense or other charge
and associated attorney's fees that SECURUS incurs from any claim arising out of,
directly or indirectly, Customer's use of the SCP Interface and related services,
Customer's combination of the SCP Interface and related services with other products
or services not provided by SECURUS, Customer's breach of any provision of these Use
Terms and Conditions, including, but not limited to, use of the SCP Interface and
related services for any purpose other than legitimate law enforcement purposes,
and/or a breach of any representation or warranty. SECURUS may change or modify
these Use Terms and Conditions from time-to-time without notice other than posting
the amended terms within the SCP interface. The amended terms will automatically be
effective when posted, and your continued use of SCP after any changes in these
terms shall constitute your consent to such changes.
SCP USE AND SECURITY POLICY
By using the SCP Interface and related services, you
are indicating your acceptance to be bound by the terms of this
Use and Security Policy.
Users are prohibited from violating or attempting to
violate the security of this site, including, without limitation,
(a) accessing data not intended for such user or logging into a
server or account which the user is not authorized to access, (b)
attempting to probe, scan or test the vulnerability of a system or
network or to breach security or authentication measures without
proper authorization, (c) attempting to interfere with service to
any user, host or network, (d) violating any applicable privacy
laws. Violations of system or network security may
result in civil or criminal liability. Securus will
investigate occurrences which may involve such violations and may
involve, and cooperate with law enforcement authorities in
prosecuting users who are involved with such violations.
1.0
Password Policy
1.1 All End Users must accept the "Terms and Conditions"
upon their first login when account is set up, when password is
reset, or when account is unlocked.
1.2 All End Users are required to reset their password
upon first login and when an account is unlocked.
1.3 The End User account will become locked after three (3) failed login attempts.
1.4 If a End User account becomes locked, the End User
must contact the Site Administrator or Support.
2.0
Password Reset Policy
2.1 Passwords must be between 6 - 12 characters long and
can be configured to require numbers, letters, and at least one
special character (!@#$%^&*()).
2.2 Passwords cannot be the same as any one of the last
1-12 passwords used, if configured.
2.3 Additional security authentication questions (mother's
maiden name, favorite pet, birth date) are proved to each End
User. This is managed by each individual End User and is used at
the discretion of the End User.
2.4 Any End User can reset its own password through the
management console in the End User interface.
2.5 An Administrator can reset any End User's password
within its Facility(s).
